UTT Solar's breakthrough innovation road under the dilemma of EU “anti-dumping and countervailing duty”

Abstract: This case describes Jiangsu UTT Solar Technology Co., Ltd. in the complex and changeable domestic and international economic environment., Following the national "14th Five-Year Plan", embracing the development ideas of domestic and international double cycles, and adjusting the strategic direction of the firm with business layout, the firm explores and implements leading new energy technology and product solutions into solutions suitable for domestic market applications. The case describes that the development process of "UTT Solar", the crisis faced by the EU under the anti-dumping and countervailing duty situation, and managers use innovative concepts to find breakthroughs in product differentiation competition under a complex and uncertain environment. The production-oriented firm has transformed into a system solution provider, at the same time, it has constructed an expansion plan suitable for the domestic market. Through case analysis, it helps us understand the factors of firm change and the ideas of strategic plan selection, and provides reference for firm change management.
