Xinai: Business Leadership's Exploration and Practice

Abstract: Xinai is a hi-tech private company with internet gene, dedicated to developing information systems and internet and IoT applications. Ever since the establishment, it has built a complete R&D system with a sound quality assurance mechanism by innovating software development and expanding its business scope. The company has gained a leading role in technology and accumulated profound experience while building the government-enterprise information management and IoT platform. The government platform developed by Xinai with concerted efforts is highly praised by the Xishan District government. In addition, Xinai's integrated law enforcement software effectively assists in grid management of communities and can analyze the big data of properties and facilities for better community connection, which receives positive feedback from the user. However, the rapid information construction and intensified competition push Xinai's advantage in the government sector to a bottleneck. This paper describes how Xinai analyzes the market after identifying gaps in its development, determines new strategic orientation, discovers a new innovation pivot to tackle customers' pain points, and finally builds up a new business mode that aligns with its strategic orientation.
